Women and girls are key agents of change and sustainable development. Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls is vital to building fair, inclusive, prosperous and peaceful societies everywhere, for ever one.

Our Goal

Our goal is to empower 1 Million women and girls by 2030 with income generating skills to become thriving entrepreneurs or employees.

Our Vision

Living Green envision an inclusive society with equal access to decent employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for women and girls.

Why We Do What We Do

In Cameroon, especially in rural communities, women shoulder the majority of unpaid household and care work. They are less likely than men to hold paid jobs due to Social and traditional gender roles. When they do, this is often in unfair and vulnerable conditions. Their lack of economic empowerment is a major barrier to equality, as it prevents women from fighting poverty, escaping abuse and influencing decisions that impact them.

Ending inequality and promoting access to decent employment and business opportunity for women and girls is why we stated Living Green. Living Green believes that women and girls have the potential to become successful entrepreneurs, but they often lack the necessary skills and resources to start and run their own businesses. By providing them with the right training and support, Living Green hopes to help these women and girls achieve financial independence and improve their lives.

Advancing The SDGs Through Sustainable Business Practices

Business Skills Training: Living Green’s business skills training programs are designed to equip women and girls with the skills they need to start and run their own businesses. The programs cover a wide range of topics, including business planning, marketing, financial management, and customer service. The training is delivered through a combination of sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

One of the key features of Living Green’s business training programs is that they are tailored to the specific needs of the women and girls they serve. Living Green recognizes that each individual has unique strengths and challenges, and it works closely with them to develop a personalized training plan that meets their needs.
